If you buy to resell, you're Pro.
Vinted is direct about it: if you sell as part of a professional activity, you must declare yourself a Pro Seller. It isn't about how much you sell — it's about what you're doing. Anyone sourcing stock to resell at a margin falls under it, even at low volume.
What Vinted Pro actually is
Vinted Pro is the account type for people selling on Vinted as a business rather than clearing out a personal wardrobe. Buyers see it as a visible "Pro" tag next to your name and on every listing.
This isn't an optional upgrade you take when you feel ready. Vinted states it can require you to create a Pro account, or block your access, if it has information showing you meet the criteria without having registered. Selling professionally without declaring it can also carry penalties under EU consumer law.
The confusion usually comes from expecting a revenue threshold. There isn't one. The test is the nature of your activity, not the size of it.

Work out whether the criteria apply
Are you buying in order to resell? Then the answer is yes. Be honest about it early — sorting it retroactively is more work than doing it right.
Register your business locally
Each country has its own route and its own business register. In most, you can start as self-employed alongside a job or studies. A local accountant or business counter can confirm what applies to you.
Convert your account
With your registration details, request the switch to Pro through Vinted. Make sure the details match your registration exactly.
