How to handle offers and lowballers
An offer isn't an insult, it's a conversation. With the right reply you sell faster and keep your margin. Run every offer through the numbers and copy your reply.
Run the numbers and stay friendly
A handy rule of thumb: is the offer up to around 15% below your asking price? Accept it and sell fast. Is it between 15% and 35%? Counter in the middle. Even lower? Say a friendly no and name your lowest price. Never go below your cost, and always reply politely.
Offers are part of Vinted
On Vinted any buyer can make an offer. Some are fair, others are so low you have to take a breath. That's normal: buyers are just trying.
Turn down every low offer angrily and you miss sales. Accept everything and you give your margin away. The difference is a fixed approach: knowing your lowest price and having a reply ready. So price your pieces with a bit of room to negotiate.
Know your floor, run the numbers and stay friendly. Then every conversation is a win.Accept, counter or no?
Slide your asking price, the offer and what the piece cost you. You'll instantly see what to do and which reply to send.

The questions resellers ask most.
Should I accept every offer?+
No. Accept offers close to your price. With a bigger gap, make a counter offer, and with a very low offer, say a friendly no.
What is a lowballer?+
A buyer who offers far below your asking price. Stay friendly and name your lowest price. Sometimes they come back later.
How much room should I keep in my price?+
A few euros, so you can come down without going below your lowest price. Always know what a piece cost you.
How do I make a counter offer?+
Reply in the chat with your own price. Keep it short and friendly and name one clear price.
What if someone only favourites my piece?+
Send a personal offer with a small discount. That's often just the nudge a doubter needs.
Is a bundle discount smart?+
Yes. You sell more pieces to one buyer and ship just one parcel. You set up bundle discounts in your Vinted settings.
